The Mission of the Topeka Driving School, the Drive-Right Schools of Wichita, Lawrence, Johnson County, and the Little Apple Driving School in Manhattan is to prepare students to become successful defensive drivers.

Bill Kennedy, owner of the Topeka Driving School, the Drive-Right Schools of Wichita, Lawrence, Johnson County, and the Little Apple Driving School in Manhattan, has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University and a Masters Degree in Education from Washburn University. He has been a teacher for over 24 years and is owner of the largest driving school in the State of Kansas. His academic curriculum is centered around defensive driving philosophies.

These Schools are Licensed by the State of Kansas.

If another driver is following you too closely (tailgating), there are several maneuvers that you can perform in order to place your vehicle in a safer position. 1) Extend your following distance in front of you so you can gradually slow to a stop and not have to slam on your brakes. 2) Change lanes. 3) Take an alternative route to your destination. 4) Reduce your speed to allow the tailgater to go around your vehicle.
